NEW YORK, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Reality TV icon, Heidi Montag, is set to launch her new clothing line "Heidiwood for Anchor Blue" on April 15, 2008. The collection will make its runway debut "Heidiwood style" at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles on Friday, April 11. To commemorate Heidi's new line, the high-profile destination will go by the name, "Heidiwood & Highland" for the day and feature a runway fashion show.

The Heidiwood collection is targeted to girls ages 16-21 and features key fashion pieces that can be dressed up for "a night on the town" or dressed down for "an afternoon at the mall." Inspired by Heidi's personal style, the line includes 13 fashion pieces including tops, graphic tee & tank, logo pocket shorts, skirt and jeans, her signature zebra tie-back top and sexy dresses. The collection also includes an amazing line of iconic handbags and stunning jewelry to complete each outfit. Items range in price from $10 to $60.

Heidi, who stars in the #1 hit MTV reality show "The Hills," spent a year abroad in Italy studying apparel design. She states, "I plan to get my hands dirty on this one. This is something I have always wanted to do and Anchor Blue has enabled me to be an integral part of the design process. Each and every piece will have my initial input, feedback and final approval stamped all over it."

In addition to releasing her collection through Anchor Blue stores, Heidi will be one of the faces of the brand for the 2008 seasons. As part of her work with the company, Heidi will be featured in ad campaigns, do in-store appearances and be a general ambassador for the brand.
