SAN FRANCISCO, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Gydget announced today that AEG Live, one of the largest concert promoters and special events companies in the world, is using its viral fan widget, or gydget, to keep Reba and Kelly Clarkson fans united following the sold-out 2 Worlds 2 Voices Tour that ended in mid-February. AEG Live launched a contest at the end of February using the widget as the primary communications vehicle. The contest encourages fans to submit their tour photos and videos for display within the widget. The thousands of die-hard fans who have the widget on their personal web pages are immediately updated as new content is added and have come to depend on the gydget for news from Reba and Kelly. Each month a fan that has submitted content is selected to win a Reba and Kelly prize package featuring cds, tour merchandise and autographed photos. Thousands of fans have already submitted their personal photos and videos from the shows. Fans can grab the gydget and get more information about the contest at http://www.gydget.com/contests/reba_and_kelly.
"We originally built a gydget to help drive ticket sales for the Reba and Kelly Clarkson Tour," said Glenn Miller, Internet Marketing Manager at AEG Live. "But when the tour ended and I looked back and saw how many fans had grabbed the gydget, I wanted to reward their loyalty by providing exclusive content from the tour within the gydget. Plus, it's a great way to maintain fan loyalty," added Mr. Miller.
"Music fans that grab widgets and proudly display they them on their profile pages are the most loyal fans," said Gerardo Capiel, CEO of Gydget. "It's great to see a promoter like AEG Live fostering these fan relationships and using the gydget as a vehicle to provide unique content."
Six months after launching Gydget.com, almost 900 artists and teams and thousands of independent bands have created customized fan widgets, or gydgets, to increase their exposure on social networking sites. In addition to the four major labels, Gydget customers include independent music distributor, IRIS Distribution, digital media services company, The Orchard, and leading artist management firms and promoters.

About the bands: NE-YO -- Performing at House of Blues in New Orleans, LA (March 27)
Grammy award winning and multi-platinum songwriter, arranger, and vocalist Ne-Yo has solidified as a true artist. Responsible for two of three of the most played songs in radio history, Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" and Mario's "Let Me Love You," Ne-Yo has two double platinum albums to his credit and multiple #1 singles. Multi-nominated, Ne-Yo won the prestigious Male R&B/Hip-Hop Artist of the Year award at the 2006 Billboard Awards and was nominated for two Grammy's that year: Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his chart-topping hit "So Sick" and Best Contemporary R&B Album, "In My Own Words." His second album, "Because of You," released in 2007, showcased Ne-Yo's stellar growth as a songwriter, his maturity and his prowess as a performer, and won the Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B Album (as well as being nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance). Most recently he penned chart-topping songs for Mary J. Blige and Janet Jackson.
JIMMY EAT WORLD -- Performing at Amos' South End in Charlotte, NC (March 30)
With 10+ years of international success under their belt, Jimmy Eat World is one of the leading rock bands touring today. Formed in Mesa, Arizona in 1994 by singer/guitarist Jim Adkins and drummer Zach Lind, they released their debut album "Static Prevails" in 1996, followed by "Clarity" in 1999. The latter title in particular was a pioneering record that resonated immediately with young listeners and is widely cited as a hugely influential record to this day. Jimmy Eat World's platinum breakthrough album Bleed American was issued in 2001, and was retitled as Jimmy Eat World but will be receiving deluxe reissue treatment under the original title this year. Bleed American included the smash hits "The Middle" and "Sweetness," and propelled the band to platinum status, sold out tours, an appearance on Saturday Night Live, an MTV Video Award nomination, invitations to tour with Green Day, Weezer and Blink-182, and critical acclaim on year-end lists from top-notch music publications. Their fifth album Futures debuted at number six on the Billboard charts, featured the Modern Rock hit "Pain," and quickly achieved gold status. Jimmy Eat World is currently touring in support of their sixth studio album, Chase This Light, the most emotionally and sonically expansive record of the bands 13-year career. Chase This Light's highlights "Big Casino" and "Always Be" seamlessly combine deep, heartfelt expression with the razor sharp hooks that have always been the band's stock in trade.
GYM CLASS HEROES -- Performing at Park West in Chicago, IL (April 10)
Melding elements of rap, rock, R&B, and funk into one cohesive and melodic sound, upstate New York's Gym Class Heroes have diverse appeal due to their impressive musical dexterity. With their music rooted in traditional hip-hop, the quartet's music also features live instruments instead of looped samples or beats, and lyrics that are often socially conscious yet with a sense of humor. The formation of the band dates back to the late 90's when MC Travis "Schleprok" McCoy and drummer Matt McGinley became friends during high-school gym class. The band was officially formed in 2001 with the two high school friends eventually teaming up with guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo and bassist Eric Roberts. After several albums, and many concert tours, the Gym Class Heroes' profile notably increased at the end of 2006 with the release of their Album "As Cruel As School Children" and the single "Cupid's Chokehold/Breakfast in America," which hit number four on Billboard's Hot 100 and remained in constant rotation on radio and MTV during the spring of 2007. From the word go, Gym Class Heroes have defined themselves via a free-thinking philosophy, always breaking musical boundaries and changing perceptions of what hip-hop or indie or rock can be. With "As Cruel As School Children," Gym Class Heroes make plain that they are proudly unified in their disorderly vision, confident that their integrity will pay off dividends in the end. For more information, go to http://www.gymclassheroes.com/ or http://www.myspace.com/gymclassheroes.
PARAMORE -- Performing at Meridien in Houston, TX (April 29)
Paramore, the rapidly emerging pop-punk quintet from Tennessee, has been building a near-deafening "next big thing" buzz. Driven by riveting live shows and the undeniable charisma of their front woman, 19-year-old Hayley Williams, they have captivated an increasingly rabid following. Confronted by the double-edged sword of overwhelming early praise, Paramore has risen to the challenge and recorded an album that happily delivers on all the claims made on their behalf. With their new Fueled By Ramen collection, "RIOT!," they announce that they have the talent, the passion, and the songs to take themselves to the next level! The band's rise has been the result of consistent hard work since Hayley first met guitarist Josh Farro and his younger brother Zac (drums) while they were together in school four years ago. After adding bassist Jeremy Davis, Paramore was formed in 2004. They played their first show in Nashville, and were soon building a local fan base. After just a few months of gigging, the band had their first big break in early 2005, when Fueled By Ramen founder John Janick saw them at a gig in Florida, was instantly struck by their presence and their dedication, and immediately signed them. Upon the release of their debut album, "All We Know Is Falling," in the summer of 2005, the music community began taking immediate notice of the band. Nonstop touring throughout 2006 continued to build momentum, culminating with a sold-out headlining tour of North America in the fall of 2006, as well as successful tours of both Europe and Japan. "Next big things" come and go, but it is obvious that Paramore has something special -- both talent and staying power. "RIOT" is the band's declaration of ambition, musical growth, and dedication.
SEAN KINGSTON -- Performing at Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas, NV (May 14)
Sean Kingston, the 18 year-old Miami born, Jamaica bred artist, is not just a new face in popular music; he's accomplished the rare task of creating a new genre where rap, reggae, pop, doo-wop and remarkable songwriting all combine into something totally refreshing. Discovered on the popular social networking site, MySpace, Kingston has become a force to be reckoned with since his debut, self-titled debut album launched on July 31, 2007 on Epic Records. Kingston continues to command the charts with his #1 smash hit in 21 countries, "Beautiful Girls," and his second and third top ten singles "Me Love" and "Take You There." Additionally, Sean is featured on Natasha Bedingfield's latest hit, "Love Like This." IRVINE, Calif., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second time in less than a month, the real estate bubble has burst on a rich and famous homeowner's palatial estate. Following closely on the heels of another trophy property recently sold on the auction block, Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch is set to possibly suffer a similar fate.
On March 19, at 1:00 p.m., Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos, Calif., is scheduled for a public auction at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse at 1100 Anacapa Street. The opening bid is estimated to be at least $20,000,000. The sprawling Jackson estate -- located at 5225 Figueroa Mountain Road -- sits on 2,800 acres of rolling hills in California's wine county north of Santa Barbara. Financial Title Co. filed the notice of trustee's sale with the Santa Barbara County Superior Court on Feb. 26. The auction notice for the property was recently posted on RealtyTrac, the leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties (www.realtytrac.com/PropertyDetails/PropertyDetails.aspx?propid=16967922).
"We are starting to see evidence of a rise in high-end foreclosures across the nation," said James J. Saccacio, chief executive officer at RealtyTrac. "With the auction of the Hearst mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., and the scheduled auction of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch, it appears that even the rich and famous are not immune to foreclosure."
Last month, the oceanfront south Florida mega mansion owned by the widow of publishing heir Randolph Hearst went on the auction block at the Palm Beach County Courthouse. Veronica Hearst's Manalapan estate -- known locally as Villa Venezio -- was auctioned for $22 million. Sitting on 3.5 acres of beachfront property, the 32,000 square foot trophy mansion -- complete with 9 bedrooms and 12 full bathrooms -- was originally built in 1929 for the grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt.

April 2006 (Medialink) - Acclaimed filmmaker Paul Greengrass (Bloody Sunday, The Bourne Supremacy) writes and directs an unflinching drama that tells the story of the passengers and crew, their families on the ground and the flight controllers who watched in dawning horror as United Airlines Flight 93 became the fourth hijacked plane on the day of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil: September 11, 2001.
United 93 recreates the doomed trip in actual time, from takeoff to hijacking to the realization by those onboard that their plane was part of a coordinated attack unfolding on the ground beneath them. The film attempts to understand the abject fear and courageous decisions of those who - over the course of just 90 minutes - transformed from a random assembly of disconnected strangers into bonded allies who confronted an unthinkable situation.
Greengrass, known for films such as Resurrected and Bloody Sunday, brings to United 93 a history of compassionate filmmaking that has explored some of the most troubled incidents of recent world history - when politics turns to violence, when beliefs slip into zealotry. As there is no perfect record of the hijacking's exact details and hostage retaliation, Greengrass takes a careful hand and partially improvises the events with an ensemble cast of little-known actors who were given studies of their UAL Flight 93 counterparts.
United 93 intends to dignify the memory of those on that flight, the men and women whose sacrifice remains one of the most heroic legacies of the incomprehensible tragedies that unfolded on that autumn morning.
United 93 will open in theaters nationwide on Friday, April 28th.
We invite you to join Universal Pictures in making a donation to the Flight 93 Memorial Fund. For information, visit www.honorflight93.org.
Taming the Media Beast in Your Home!
by Linore Rose Burkard
Does your home have more noise, confusion, mixed messages, commercials, or tasteless junk coming from the airwaves than you'd like? Computer, TV, radio, video games, CD's and DVD'sno matter how careful we try to be, there are still leaks allowing things in our personal spaces that we don't really like. There's a name for this onslaught of worldly messages and political correctnessit's called, the Media Beast! And our best efforts to stop it from gaining access to the minds and hearts of our families sometimes seems hopeless. Even children's" books can be the source of some of the worst messagesie., stuff that we don't want to teach our kids (such as the infamous, Heather Has Two Mommies).
Fear not: The holiday season presents the perfect time to tame the media beast in your home. There is no period of the year that is more conducive to getting together as a family and sharing what we watch, hear, or read. I have two suggestions that all families canand should-- try, at least during the holidays, if no other time of the year.
#1: Have a 19th Century night once or more each week. With the exception of Christmas lights, turn off all other electronics: the TV, computer, games, etc. If you have a fireplace this is the time to USE it! If outdoor wood is not available for burning have some store-bought fire logs ready for the occasion. Hunker down together in one room, making sure everyone is comfortable. Hot cocoa, mulled cider, or non-alcoholic eggnog make the perfect libation. Popcorn, Christmas cookies, or anything your family likes to nosh on should be available. Candlesso long as they are not accessible to small childrenare a wonderful atmosphere enchancer. If not practical for you, then substitute flashlights.
Once everyone is cozy, read a Christmas story together. Some are ageless, and even reluctant teens will end up getting involved in them, such as A Christmas Carol. Very young children will enjoy shorter selections and there are abundant offerings to choose from; in fact, this is true for all ages. Alternatives to reading aloud together are listening to holiday stories on tape or cassette, and of course, watching a holiday movie, my second suggestion, which I'll discuss in a moment. Young children should be allowed to color or play quietly while listening to audio tapes or longer stories read aloud. (A side-benefit of having a "19th Century Night" is that it becomes a great memory for the kids later on.)
#2: Have a Merry Movies Night. During the holidays my family does this as often as possible. First, be sure that all homework is finished, projects worked on, and baths accomplished. Once everyone is ready, get comfortable and pop in a wholesome Christmas movie. (Beware of modern remakes, and never assume that because the word Christmas is in the title that the movie will be a good one, or appropriate for all ages.) We have nights when we do a few cartoon classics such as, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Snoopy and the gang, or Rudolph. Other nights we pick an old film classic, and sometimes we try a more modern one (Christmas with the Kranks, Elf). For some tried and true movie ideas, check my holiday picks page on my website. This is the time to add to your collection of good filmsand they make great family gifts, too!
The benefit of doing family nights are manifold: first, everyone is together! For families with older kids, being together gets harder as interests spread and commitments take children from the home. Second: You can control, or at least have a large say in what form of media is getting everyone's attention (make it wholesome and fun). Finally, you won't be passively allowing the media beast to trample on you or your familynot this year, not this time!
Have a warm and wonderful, wholesome and happy Christmas!

With your computer you can watch movies, music, sports all4free on your PC, which is what I do. I don't have to pay any monthly satellite subscription payments or any other recurring payments ever.
There are over 3000 stations I can choose from to watch (Movies, Sports, Music, Clips, News, Radio, etc.) from all over the world including local, regional and international broadcasts.
I can watch over 40 music channels with this software plus includes masses of radio stations as well.
Do you like baseball which has it's own baseball channel TV, basketball NBA TV, hockey NHL, football offcourse live games, soccer which has most English Premier League games live if two or more are on the same time you choose which one you want to see, tennis or even athletics, what about boxing, whatever the sport you can watch until your hearts content.
All you need to be able to connect to a world of television is a computer with Internet access. Meaning that you do not need to buy extra hardware equipment or a PC TV card because the TV channels are streamed through your Internet connection. It even works with a 56k connection. Personally though I only recommend this if you have broadband connection not just 56k connection.(A broadband connection will deliver superior audio and video quality).
The lifetime fee for all the entertainment you need costs $49.95 and as that would suggest, it is the only payment you will ever have to make then you can watch movies, music, sports all4free on your PC.
These are some of the channels for TVU CHANNEL GUIDE, CBN, Fashion, ESPN (ASIA), Star Sports, CCT-5 (Sports), Fox, NBC, NBC15, CBS, ESPN, ESPN 2, Hunan TV, CSTV, NHL2, Telecapri (Italy Sports), NHL, ONTOP TV (Music), USA Network, CW, E-Music (Harik), EA Music, Xin Chi, Class News (Italy), DW TV (German), Bloomberg, NASA TV, CNBC (India), WSCN, Fox News (M), MSNBC, Phoenix Info, StarTV, Phoenix CN, CTITV, Channel 52, AXN, Hollywood Movie, East TV, CCTV 8, HuaYu, Channel V, Comedy Central, Voice TV, TeleMundo, My Life, EasyFM, CRI Language Studio, HITZ Radio, Nickelodeon, CHANNEL D1, RTM2 etc.

The Couple Bring Home a "Beautiful Baby"-Blue-Eyed, Dark-Haired Suri
Plus: Hollywood Baby Boom! Exclusive Photos of Gwyneth Paltrow, Donald Trump and Joely Fisher with their New Bundles of Joy
(NEW YORK)--On April 18, PEOPLE reported that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise welcomed their first child, a 7 lb. 7 oz. baby girl named Suri, at an L.A.-area hospital. Both Holmes and Suri "are doing wonderfully," Cruise's rep tells PEOPLE. "The baby is happy and healthy. Katie is doing great. Everything is fantastic."
The birth went so smoothly, in fact, that Holmes left the hospital within 24 hours. A source close to the actress's Toledo, Ohio-based family, who were vacationing in Florida at the time of the birth, tells PEOPLE that new grandma Kathy Holmes, "was crying and said, 'We have a sweet baby girl! We're so excited!'" Holmes opted for an epidural, says the source, adding, "Everything is fine and Katie can relax now." As for Suri--whose name the couple, in a statement, traced to the Hebrew for "princess" and the Persian for "red rose"--"she has lots and lots of dark hair and big, blue eyes," says the source. "She's going to be a beautiful baby."
(In an only-in-Hollywood twist, Brooke Shields, who last year sparred with Cruise over her use of medication to treat postpartum depression, delivered her own newborn girl down the hall from Holmes the very same day.)
Now that she's here, what's in store for the newest Cruise? An upbringing in Scientology, for starters. "You can be Catholic and be a Scientologist. You can be Jewish and be a Scientologist. We're just Scientologists," Cruise told Diane Sawyer on the April 14 Primetime, noting that he and Holmes (who was raised Catholic) will hold a Scientology naming ceremony but not a Catholic baptism. Explains Greg LaClaire, the vice president of the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre International in Hollywood, which Holmes visited regularly throughout much of her pregnancy: "We have a naming ceremony at which the parents and godparents pledge to give good care while at the same time providing the child an opportunity to grow and choose their own path in life. The child is welcomed by the congregation."
Naturally, the pampering isn't stopping there. PEOPLE reports that in March Holmes ordered three luxury bassinets from high-end baby bedding line Lulla Smith along with 30 sets of Sea Island cotton sheets. ("That baby is not going to use the same sheet twice!" jokes designer Carol Smith.) And the baby booty has been pouring in too including a onesie that declares "Tom Coos" and a terry-cloth robe with the word "MOVIE" above a gold star.
Even as the news of the glamor girl's debut sparked a renewed frenzy at casa Cruise in Beverly Hills--circling helicopters, hordes of paparazzi and even a K-9 police unit--the new parents are making every effort to create a peaceful environment in keeping with Scientology beliefs about maintaining calm around children.
"Tom does everything 150 percent," says his friend Kirstie Alley, "and fatherhood he does 300 percent. They're going to have a great kid." (Cover Story, Page 66)

EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: GWYNETH PALTROW AND CHRIS MARTIN WELCOME SON, MOSES
This week's PEOPLE features exclusive photos of Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin with their new son Moses Martin (born 8lbs, 4 oz., on April 8) and older sister Apple. Paltrow told PEOPLE, "I've done everything career-wise that I wanted to do." Now she is just looking forward to spending time with her kids in their family homes in London and Manhattan, while Martin tours the U.S. with Coldplay this summer. (Page 58)
EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: BILLION DOLLAR BABY - BARRON WILLIAM TRUMP
Donald and Melania Trump welcomed baby son Barron William Trump on March 20, 2006. Barron - Dad chose the first name, Mom the middle one - weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz. PEOPLE has exclusive photos of the baby with his parents in their $100 million triplex penthouse apartment where he has his own floor (above his parents' bedroom). The baby has already received lots of gifts from the couple's celebrity friends - including a white mink coverlet from furrier Dennis Basso and a golden stroller with its own chandelier from Ellen Degeneres. (11-19-03). An arrest warrant has been issued for pop star Michael Jackson, 45, after his Neverland Ranch was searched, ironically on the release date of his new CD, a greatest hits album, Number Ones, released by Epic Records. Rumors and speculation are circulating that this may be a way to extort money from Jackson by hurting his album sales.
The ongoing criminal investigation involves 70 officials from the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department, as well as the district attorney's office. Unofficial sources say there are child molestation allegations against Jackson. In 1994, almost ten years ago, the singer settled a lawsuit when a 13-year old boy who spent the night at his ranch accused him of molestation. Neverland Ranch has a zoo and amusement park that Jackson has for underprivileged and sick children.
According to Jackson's spokesperson Stuart Backerman, he has been in Las Vegas, Nevada shooting a video for his single, "One More Chance." In a statement, Jackson says "I've seen lawyers who do not represent me and spokespeople who do not know me speaking for me. These characters always seem to surface with a dreadful allegation just as another project, an album, a video, is being released."
Johnnie Cochran, Jackson's attorney in the previous case stated on Larry King Live that "I think it's more than coincidence. I think it was planned," referring to the search warrant issuance on the day of Jackson's album release. Cochran advised Jackson not to place himself in the position of being alone with young children, "but that's who Michael Jackson is, he's a very, very naive person in many respects, and there's no question about that. Yeah, he does wear a bull's eye."
CBS is scheduled to air a Jackson broadcast on November 26, consisting of mostly old concert footage.
Jackson, who had international hits including the number one album of all time, Thriller, begin to see his career collapse in 1993 with the previous allegations of child molestation. Jackson maintains his innocence despite settling for millions of dollars.

Cleveland, Ohio--An Ohio based company is planning to "Redefine Children's Music" using pop music and an animated cast of musicians, the MONSTER ROCKERS are ready to make their appearance on the music scene with their debut project.
Monster Rockers, Inc. has just released their first CD and accompanying 30 page comic book aimed at children five to 11 years old. (14.99, 45 minute CD http://www.monsterrockers.com
The package provides not only entertainment for this age group; it provides them valuable life lessons in the process. Monster Rockers first endeavor consists of an audio CD featuring 11 tracks plus narrations of every story contained within the book. The music is performed by the "Monster Rockers"--cartoon characters developed by the company to reach out to it's young audience. The text of the stories appears in script form in the book and is acted out by children on the CD.
"We could have performed the music as adults" says Monster creator Michael Durkay, "But it was our feeling that cartoon characters were better suited for capturing the attention and imagination of the children. Each Monster Rocker is defined by a different character trait, ranging from intelligence to humor to confidence, and all are designed to be positive role models for youngsters. They are featured in stories that are educational, character building, and giving children insights into how to solve problems they may face in everyday life.
"Monster's Theme" Introduces the 5 members of the band. The track titled "Boys and Girls" stresses that girls are on an equal level with boys. "There's No I In TEAM" introduces the concept of working together towards a common goal so that all may share in the outcome. Making the right choice based on good judgment is the topic of "Peer Pressure". Lastly, "Kaleidoscope" covers the issue of racism through the eyes of a child.
Are any of these issues relevant in today's society? "The vast majority of children's music is produced for children under the age of five," contends Durkay. "We feel childhood extends beyond that scope. Our music is intended for children who have outgrown traditionally produced children's music but are not yet mature enough to understand the content of today's popular music. By applying the method of which pop music is constructed and keeping the content within the context of childhood, I believe we have a program of tremendous potential."
With X-genners entering the realm of parenthood, change is inevitable. While traditional ideologies that make up the children's market are tried and true, Monster Rockers, Inc. believes the new generation of parents are going to be looking for something new. The fact that the company is made up of X-genners supports this case.
The group has ROCKED Cleveland area schools with an interactive rock concert. Children were invited to voice their opinions and share their ideas on the subject matter at hand.
"It is our contention that children love to think, to be stimulated mentally and emotionally and have a derived need to be heard," according to Durkay, "The Monster Rockers are simply a vehicle which kids can express themselves. Our stories present a situation, the music provides food for thought, and it is the children's thoughts and ideas which are expressed that are incredibly insightful and significant."
The Music and stories behind the MONSTER ROCKERS are available on the bands website http://www.monsterrockers.com
The audio is in it's entirety and it is absolutely FREE. Review Copies Available, send press credentials to company contact.
