Not all fancy dress, however, is built on the main costume itself – it’s the little details that can really flesh it out. From key accessories like fangs for a vampire, to less obvious ones like luminous contact lenses, don’t forget the unusual elements that can really help you stand out in the crowd. Of course, the occasion might call solely for something small, like a masquerade mask; or maybe, for more ‘intimate’ parties, some handcuffs for your adult costume. Whatever the excuse you’ve found, be sure to give your fancy dress the deliberation it deserves.
