Newark, NJ (En Sound Promotions) -- If ever there was a Gospel CD worth listening to…this is it! Yvonne Marie truly delivers a fresh, new sound that draws you to not just the music but also in the presence of the Lord. With her jazzy, tear-jerking delivery and Christ-centered lyrics, this CD is sure to please even the most conservative music lover.

"Changed", Yvonne Marie’s debut CD, has a sound all its own; from the hip hop groove of "Don't Go", the catchy hooks of “Open Your Mouth” to the beloved hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness", this CD expresses her relationship with Jesus Christ in several different musical styles. The sounds of R&B, Hip Hop, Classical, and Samba all can be heard mixed with her unique vocal styling. Each song was written and produced by Yvonne Marie through the Holy Spirit, therefore the words are from THE WORD, which gives this CD power to change lives, penetrate hearts, plant seeds, and encourage not only the body of Christ but all who hears it.  [continue article]

Entire Cast of "I Sing 4 Luv" - The Smash Hit Gospel Musical

Los Angeles, CA - (4/22/04) One woman's phenomenal voice shakes heaven and hell in the seriously funny Kenneth A. Lee production, I Sing 4 Luv, debuting at the Wilshire Ebell Theater for a limited engagement, May 5th through May 13th. With a breakout cast starring James Avery of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Dawn Lewis of A Different World. I Sing 4 Luv is the complicated tale of lust, life and dreams when a young singer's powerful gift has the ability to set a church and a nightclub on fire.

Multi-talented Playwright, Kenneth A. Lee, who wrote I Sing 4 Luv while the ink was barely dry from his previous project, Pink Hills, a feature film staring DMX, holds playwright as only one of his many talents. Lee's credentials include GQ model, actor (Dancing in September) and filmmaker. The former Wall Street broker with a MBA from Columbia Business School wrote The Story of Chance for his upcoming directorial debut and is developing a film set to star Jamie Foxx. In I Sing 4 Luv Lee brings the power of Gospel music center stage with a story about following passion and finding purpose.

Director Art Evens joins super talents Howard Hewitt, best known for his crooning days with the hit R&B group Shalamar, Freda Payne, pop chart queen for her 60s classic Band of Gold with Tony Grant, R&B group AZ Yet, Actor-Comedian Buddy Lewis (Yes Dear and Def Comedy Jam) and Actor David Ramsey (Beauty Shop) for an extraordinary cast of misfits, church folk and night club regulars. It's a foot-stomping, sidesplitting show you won't want to miss!

GOSPEL SUPERSTARS UNITE DURING BET'S CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL IV HONORING BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH SONGS OF PRAISE
Yolanda Adams, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Fred Hammond, Vickie Winans and More Featured in Gospel Tributes in BET Telecast on February 24 at 9 p.m. ET

Washington, DC - (2/18/04). Some of the most noted names in gospel music united in song during the taping of BET's CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL IV at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. The annual show, which anchors the network's Black History Month programming for a fourth consecutive year, features living legends and rising stars honoring gospel music through powerful praise and spiritual salutes. Themed "We've Come This Far by Faith," CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL IV premieres a soul-stirring march of star-studded performances on Tuesday, February 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on BET.

Actor/comedian Steve Harvey, back by popular demand as host for a fourth straight year, ushered in the "congregation" which included gospel legends and other entertainment luminaries. The all-star lineup of "Holy Heavyweights" - including 2004 Grammy Award winner Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Pastor Shirley Caesar, CeCe Winans, Vickie Winans, John P. Kee and Dr. Bobby Jones - transformed the historic theater into a toe-tapping, hand-clapping "sanctuary" with energy worthy of a Sunday morning service. Their high-energy performances brought the celebrity-filled congregation to its feet, which included notable attendees such as multi-platinum super group B2K; actors Jenifer Lewis (The Brothers, Dancing In September), Sherri Shepherd (Less Than Perfect, The Jamie Foxx Show) and Dorien Wilson (The Parkers); and comedians Kym Whitley, Joe Torry and Michael Colyar. Among the distinguished partners in praise also on hand showing their support were Christian Contemporary artist Carman; much-loved duo, Mary Mary; and comedian Jonathan Slocumb.

"Gospel music is an enduring and uplifting part of African-American culture, and it is important that we recognize its value," commented Debra Lee, BET President and Chief Operating Officer. "Black History Month provides the ideal opportunity to highlight our contributions and CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL - one of BET's signature specials - has proven to be a huge success since its inception. That's why we are thrilled to bring it back again this year as the anchor of our Black History Month programming."

The show is rich with remarkable renditions by award-winning gospel artists including Donnie McClurkin who captivated audience members with the beloved hit "I Call You Faithful" from his 2004 Grammy Award-winning album. Rousing performances of "Shake Yourself Loose" and "Oh How Wondrous" by 2004 Grammy Award nominees Vickie Winans and John P. Kee later brought the crowd to its feet. Two of gospel music's most admired songbirds Yolanda Adams and CeCe Winans sang beautiful interpretations of "How Great Thou Art" and "Mercy Said No." Fred Hammond stirred things up with a traditional favorite "Jesus Be A Fence," while the noted "Prince of Praise" Byron Cage called the saints to worship with his Stellar Award-winning "The Presence of The Lord Is Here."

"We first conceived this show idea four years ago, and this 2004 production is the closest we've come to what BET has always envisioned," said Gina Holland, Executive Producer and BET Senior Vice President of Production. "CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL has some truly inspired moments and performances that touch your heart, yet bring the energy and excitement that television offers. This is what I call 'feel-good' television."

Also adding punch to the praise-packed house were performances by budding talents such as seven-year-old Jamia Simone Nash, belting out a powerful rendition of "What A Friend We Have In Jesus"; a moving medley by Tonex of "Make Me Over"; and 2004 Grammy nominee Anthony Hamilton with two stirring selections including the traditional hymn "Precious Lord" and Sam Cooke's classic a "A Change Is Going To Come." A surprise appearance by the "Queen of Gospel" Albertina Walker who joined in on the finale featuring the all-cast rendition of "We've Come This Far by Faith" cemented the night.

An encore telecast of CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL IV is scheduled on Tuesday, March 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
