YOU CAN'T GET THERE FROM HERE...
By Vernice Watson, Milton Allen

Website: WWW.VERNICEWATSON.COM
E-mail: VERLENPUB@AOL.COM

A Gospel Music industry tell all, containing glaring facts and figures by Gospel Music Marketing Pioneer, Vernice Watson. Everyone should have a copy of this true-life, confession of behind the scene in’s and outs of the music business. Ms Watson also shares a first hand accounting of a horrid and unpleasant legal encounter with communications giant AT&T in a battle that left her almost homeless and destitute. Her story is one that everyone should read if they still want to believe all in the music industry is glitz and glamour.

You Can't Get There From Here is an historical and entertaining account of a dynamic, colorful, Black female promotional executive's 20 years in a world of glitz, glamour, dirt -- and soul. From Baltimore to Nashville to Hollywood and back again. Watson provides fodder for gospel groupies and fans of everyone from Shirley Caesar to Whitney Houston's "True Voice" as the author chronicles the rise and fall of her own career at the hands of corporate "giant" AT&T.
