Ajibola Tai Laosebikan |
|
|
Atlanta, GA - (BlackNews.com/BlackPR.com) - 1-14-04. A former Coca-Cola Senior Systems Specialist, Ajibola Tai Laosebikan affectionately known as Tai Laosebikan and currently a plaintiff in a Racial Discrimination lawsuit against The Coca-Cola Company, will be memorialized on The Wall of Tolerance. The Wall of Tolerance represents people who stand for justice and practice tolerance in their daily lives, a project sponsored by The Southern Poverty Law Center, chaired by Mrs. Rosa Parks and co-chaired by Morris Dees. The Southern Poverty Law Center has won a series of historic lawsuits against hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazis.
The Wall of Tolerance will be a visible, powerful symbol of unity and the strength of the "Tolerance Movement," the new crusade that is being launched by the National Campaign for Tolerance. Mr. Laosebikan and others added to the Wall will serve as a call to action for other Americans of good will to follow their example and join in this campaign for tolerance and justice.
The Wall of Tolerance will be located in the new Civil Rights Memorial Center in the heart of Montgomery, Alabama, a city famous for the Human Rights struggle. It will be just blocks from where Rosa Parks helped launch the Civil Rights Movement when she refused to give her bus seat to a white man. It will be around the corner from the church where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955, and the capitol steps where the Selma-to-Montgomery Voting Rights March ended in 1965. The Wall will be in the same complex as the Civil Rights Memorial, which honors the slain heroes of the Movement. The Memorial was designed by Maya Lin, architect of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Laosebikan, is a highly talented extremely intelligent individual with passion for competition. His character exudes honesty, determination, resiliency and focus. According to our sources, Mr. Laosebikan is credited for exposing a professional career racist manager, Richard Hoefs, a current employee of The Coca-Cola Company, who has built a history of falsifying documents which include performance appraisals; lying, harassing, intimidating, and slandering African American and minority employees that work for him before firing them because of their race.
Our sources states that a career racist likes to take credit and receive company bonuses and other perks for hiring African Americans and other minorities, and then set them up for firing. A slavery system, Mr. Laosebikan alleges, is fully supported by The Coca-Cola Company. He further states, "Mr. Hoefs had been successful with his methods of slavery until he targeted me as his next victim. The racist also lied under oath at my deposition and may be headed for jail." Mr. Laosebikan continues to push his way through the justice system in a lawsuit filed against Coca Cola for his wrongful termination in 1999.
Mr. Laosebikan was fired November 1999 after notifying former CEO, Doug Ivester, of the practices in his department and requesting necessary action to correct the problem. Mr. Laosebikan states, "I wasn't just wrongfully fired, but incriminated through a conspiracy engineered by former CEO, Doug Ivester, Michael Walters, former Vice President of Human Resources, Joseph Gladden, former Vice President of Legal Affairs, Keith Wise, former Information Services director, and Richard Hoefs, the racist manager." Mr. Laosebikan busted the conspiracy by legally taping the incriminating incident.
Mr. Laosebikan also busted a conspiracy he alleges was funded by The Coca-Cola Company through its legal representation, King and Spalding. He states, "A private investigator with the assistance of a next door neighbor, a former neo-Nazi, were used to perform a "forcible entry" into my home to kill me and my family and destroy the taped evidence. Also Richard Hoefs with the assistance of the former neo-Nazi neighbor conspired to slander my reputation in our neighborhood." Mr. Laosebikan next-door neighbor was reportedly paid for his assistance.
Mr. Laosebikan also claims he busted King and Spalding, the law firm representing Coca-Cola in his current lawsuit, for obstruction of justice after learning his court transcript and videotaped deposition were edited. Mr. Laosebikan states, "I am in the process of involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Attorney General for a full investigation of these criminal acts."
Mr. Laosebikan historically has fought racial injustice, corruption, fraud and racketeering against State Government, Corporate America, and individuals. He has been successful in prosecuting and winning past cases without benefit of legal counsel. Mr. Laosebikan states, "My talent and skill persuaded Willie Gary's law firm to hire one of the best employment lawyers in the nation to represent me against Coca Cola." Mr. Laosebikan is represented by James Montalvo, an attorney with the Gary Firm in Florida.
Mr. Laosebikan believes, "African Americans and minorities need to translate the power of marching together to fight racial injustice to the court room. America is still an institutionalized system of racism and slavery; individual efforts through the justice system will have an immediate profound effect on our society. One million lawsuits against a racist organization is better than one lawsuit, because it will force them to change or risk going out of business."
Mr. Laosebikan was born as the first of twin babies on June 14, 1955 in Ibadan, Nigeria. He credited his leadership style, confidence and ability to making a difference to the quasi-military private high school he attended in Nigeria where 'survival of the fittest' is the rule.
Mr. Laosebikan is currently the CEO of E-COMMERCE Technology of Atlanta, an IBM Business Partner. Mr. Laosebikan graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond, Oklahoma with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science in 1982 and a MBA in Business Administration in 1986. Mr. Laosebikan also holds several Technology Certifications. He served on the Board of Decision Analyst, Inc. where he is a member of The Executive Advisory Board. He is also a special adviser to CEO of Infisys and E-Commerce Technology.
Mr. Laosebikan is married to Emma Laosebikan, a former military officer who served the country during the Korean War. Mrs. Laosebikan graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, and a Masters Degree in Education. She is currently employed with Emory University. The couple have two children and a step daughter.
Mr. Laosebikan's favorite book is Covey - Seven Habits of Highly Effective people. He enjoys reading Wall Street Journal, and Bottom Line. He likes to play tennis, jogging, volley ball and soccer. He also has a great sense of humor.
