The answer is a most definite yes!
After researching the topic of Affiliate Marketing for a few months (I like to be thorough!) I decided to run a little test and see if I could earn some real money - not pennies. I used strategies that top marketers appear to have been using for years and to my surprise and delight the results were simply amazing.
Over 1 month I wrote 3 ebooks and started my own newsletter. I'm now starting to see results and am very impressed with the financial rewards I'm receiving. Best of all, some of the cash is a monthly recurring amount that will simply be paid into my bank account each and every month without me having to do anymore work to get it - as my daughter says, cool!
How am I earning money without my own website? I simply include relevant affiliate links in my ebooks, articles, reports and monthly newsletter. I also make sure that each email I send to a customer includes 1 relevant, recommended affiliate merchant link in the main body and of course, I also include my own website links as part of my signature. I already have the customer's trust so get a high response rate.
Writing articles and ebooks is a fantastic way of generating targeted traffic to your website (if you have one) which in turn generates more sales and that means more money :). I sell my ebooks on the World's biggest billboard - Ebay!
So far all of my ebooks have resell rights included. Basically, I sell 50 copies of each ebook, from just 1p, and then hopefully at least 1% of the buyers will resell it for me and then 1% of their buyers, etc., etc. While everyone else is busy selling my ebook I get to work on the next one. I'm not really bothered about making money from selling the ebook as I'm more interested in earning commission from the affiliate links inside it.
I have Outlook set up as an auto responder so that when Paypal send me a payment notification, an email is immediately send to my buyer so they can download their eBook. I follow up a few days later asking if they'd like to sign up to my monthly newsletter and offer them another free eBook every month as an incentive. Now I can get some of my affiliate links in front of them every month without too much effort required.
Hopefully, you see the potential in affiliate marketing and are maybe considering it yourself so you're probably asking where to begin writing your own ebook or article. I found a brilliant website with pre-written articles on health and wellbeing. Health is an area that never seems to go out of fashion so is always popular and therefore anything relevant sells very well.
I take the pre-written content, dress it up and add my own affiliate links to basically make it my own. Again, the ebooks always have a link to my website and newsletter sign up. I've found that usually after 3 or 4 months I start to see my affiliate links working their magic for me and depositing cash in my bank account.
3 or 4 months may seem like a long time to wait for the money to roll in but once you start to reap the rewards you should hopefully continue to reap them for years to come so it's definitely worth the initial wait.
Now I've successfully tested the market and am more than happy with the results, I intend to make it a top priority to write at least 1 new ebook and article every week and multiply my profits. I know it's a cliché but, if I can do it then anyone can! :)

One of the most effective methods of attracting paying customers to a Website or product is through affiliate marketing. With affiliate marketing, the person with the product to sell pays a commission to willing participants, known as affiliates, who send customers to the retailer. It's a mutually beneficial situation for everyone; the seller has buyers sent his way and the affiliate gets a percentage of the sale for a small bit of work. Affiliate marketing has been touted on many Websites and in many books as a good way to make "easy money". Is that the case?

One of the biggest obstacles affiliate marketers face is trying to sell lots of products they don’t own. Since you don’t own the products you’re selling there are limitations you’re forced to deal with, such as, when you make a sale with your affiliate link you cannot contact the buyer to tell him about another terrific product you’re selling…but the owner of the product can. In other words, no repeat sales to this customer are possible for you. The Squeeze Page Method will overcome this problem.
Another obstacle affiliate marketers face is credibility, or lack thereof. Inevitably, before someone clicks on your affiliate link they will ask themselves, ‘why should I buy from this guy?’ The Squeeze Page Method can turn you into an expert in your niche.
And finally, when you’re selling products you don’t own, it’s impossible to set up your own affiliate sales team for that product. Having an affiliate sales team will dramatically increase your daily income. Once again, the Squeeze Page Method will allow you to overcome this problem.
So, I’ll bet by now you’re wondering how to set up your very own Squeeze Page Method strategy. Let’s review. You need a strategy that allows you to make repeat sales to people who buy affiliate products from you. You need credibility as an expert in your niche. And you need your own affiliate sales team to help you make money. Accomplish all of that and your goal of $500 per day is just on the horizon.
The four-part Squeeze Page Method consists of the following components:
Component One: You must have a list of people to send sales letters to by email. When you have a big list of people who have volunteered to receive information from you about your niche then you can sell, sell, and sell terrific products to these same people. In other words, you need an ezine.
Component Two: You need a lead capture page, or what is commonly referred to as a squeeze page. This is a small, easy to create, one-page web site that does three things: promotes one affiliate product, offers a product for free such as an ebook with your affiliate link embedded inside, and finally, asks visitors to request more information by email about the affiliate product your squeeze page is promoting.
When your visitor signs up to get more information by clicking on the Send Me The Info button, they are immediately redirected to the sales page of the affiliate product you are promoting. Hopefully they will buy the product immediately. But, if they don’t buy right away, you will be sending them an email sales message that promotes this fantastic affiliate product. This first sales message is the first installment of your ezine. More sales letters should follow, preferably three or four in periods of 48 hours or more.
Many affiliate merchants will give you a few sales letters to send to your ezine subscribers. That’s becoming a trend, so look for it when you sign up for affiliate programs. Preferably, your squeeze page should promote an affiliate program that offers a residual, monthly income. Choose a program that you can build a business around; one that will allow you to sell lots of similar affiliate products and resale products in your chosen niche.
Component Three: Sell resale products. Your newsletter will promote your main affiliate product in the first few email messages, but you need to continue to offer new items for sale to your subscribers. Items that YOU own, plus affiliate products.
Resale products, or private label products, are ebooks and software that you have the right to sell as your own product. The best resale products come with a sales page and a download page, and all you have to do is add a PayPal Buy Now button to the sales page to sell the product. When you own products you can create an affiliate sales team to sell, sell, and sell that product for you. Ask your ezine subscribers to join your sales team. Selling your own products will enhance your credibility as an experienced marketer, sparking more sales of your recommended affiliate products.
Component Four: Continuously write and publish articles about your niche business. Credibility will follow. Plus, if you include your squeeze page url in the resource box at the bottom of your articles this will drive traffic to the squeeze page, and cause your site to rise in search engine placement for your chosen niche keywords. Each published article will be blasted like a rocket throughout cyberspace. This will create potential ezine subscribers for you. Publish each article in many article directories, and also publish in ezines that focus on your niche and have a large subscriber base.
The Squeeze Page Method is easy to implement, and extremely inexpensive. It consists of one small web page, merchant written email messages (free), email messages you write (free), a monthly web site host account (cheap), a monthly autoresponder account to send out your messages (cheap), and a dot com address (cheap, maybe free from your host), and articles you write (free). Pagebreeze.com is a free web page editor you can download to create your squeeze page, and some hosts will give you a web page editor. It costs nothing to join affiliate programs, and many resale rights products are not pricey. Some resale products you can get for free by signing up for ezines. We’re talking start up costs of less than $100. You can improve your business marketing tools gradually as you profit from your subscriber list.
All you have to do is put the strategy in gear, grow your list of ezine subscribers by publishing articles, and set your sights on $500 a day in affiliate product sales.

I have some good news, and some bad news. The good news is that there are many good affiliate programs out there. The bad news is that you will have a hard time identifying which are the best. Everyone has to decide for themselves which program they know and like enough to promote on a continuous basis.
When it comes to the best affiliate programs for me, I have considered a couple of things. First, who is my target audience? (And I had to make sure it was not me, a trap that most people fall into). Since most people using the internet are females between 20 and 50 (I read this some place not too long ago). I decided to pick them as my target market and design my site around them.
My second consideration was what this group is buying on the internet. What I discovered was that they were shopping for all kinds of things on eBay, Amazon, and Overstock.com. Upon further research I noticed that this group had a lot of stay at home moms who were interested in earning extra money for various reasons and were heavy into surveys, data entry, and typing jobs. I spread my research further using information that I gathered from search engines and other websites concentrating in this arena. Here I saw a lot of duplication and not necessary things that I would be comfortable with associating myself.
I started to do some thinking on my own and reasoned that if most people use the internet for information then maybe I should provide some information. So, I have an eBook on how to make money on the internet as a free offer on my website. I also set up a FREE Newsletter where I offer marketing tips on a continuous basis so that I can stay in touch with my customers.
Looking at the web site with what I had up to this point, left some room for creative thinking. My thought was that if these ladies were going to work and shop on my site I should give them some things to shop that are not readily available in every neighborhood shopping strip or mall. So I picked the Playboy store and Fredericks of Hollywood as a special attraction. The Dollar store, Golfsmith, and Entrepreneur Magazine were thrown in because of their brand value. And that is it.
I know I have a site that I am very comfortable with and think it represents the best affiliate programs for my business. That may change tomorrow, but right now I am having a lot of fun with it.
Your approach to finding the best affiliate programs may be different from mine, and that is fine. However, keep in mind that it is a business that you will be getting heavily involved in, so look for what will work best for your personality and your style.

To earn commissions an affiliate marketer must send targeted traffic to their affiliate website. Typically an affiliate first signs up with a network such as clickbank and can choose which programs they want to promote. Affiliate marketing is an ideal business to own for a number of reasons. First of all there is no physical products for an affilitate marketer to handle.
